Waikanae senior players will have their prizegiving on Saturday 21st September at the Clubrooms on Te Moana Road. Doors will open slightly earlier than past years at 6:00pm and a catered meal will commence at 6:30pm.
Coaches and managers will be asked for their ‘Player of the Year’ and team members will select a “Players Player of the Year”. The club “Golden Boot” will also be awarded on the evening.
The function will be preceded by the “Kiwis vs Rest of World” match which kicks off at Jim Cooke Park at 1:00pm. Pete Blank is managing the Kiwis while Charlie Sturman and Dave Horton will take the Rest of the World into battle.
