Former Waikanae Junior Selected for Football Ferns

Waikanae Football is thrilled to hear that former Waikanae footballer and goalkeeper Alina Santos has been selected for the Football Ferns u20 team to take on Australia in a friendly on 12 June as part of their preparations for the u20 World Cup in Costa Rica in August. Alina now plays for Palmerston North Marist who currently lead the W-League table. I think we can safely say Alina has surpassed dad Jezz who still plies his trade in H-K Div 2. Congratulations Alina and all the best for the upcoming games.
