Waikanae Beach Boys Defend Erin Walter Cup

A huge THANK YOU from Waikanae Football to everyone who contributed to put together an amazing day in memory of Erin Walter. Thanks to our referees Jeremy, Vesa & Wilf and all those who stepped up to ref. To the catering team of Dawn, Charley and Colin, timekeeper & score keeper Mary – we couldn’t do it without you. To all those who helped set up & pack up – led by Hoppy & Chris. To the council for the magnificent venue and Dave Hardy who was the chief organiser for the Club. Last but not least to the clubs, teams, players and managers for the wonderful spirit in which you played your games. No doubt a few sore bodies tonight! I almost forgot… – congratulations to the Waikanae “Beach Boys” for defending the trophy against the Strollers with Manakau taking the final podium spot ahead of Otaki.
