Waikanae Player Takes Horowhenua Kapiti PoY at Football Awards

Waikanae Coasters midfielder Cole McIntosh picked up the Horowhenua/Kapiti Senior Player of the Year after Waikanae had earlier swept the nominations for the award.  Cole was joined by Michael Edridge (Waikanae Jets) and Lewis Plumley (Waikanae Hawks) as the final nominations from the seventeen teams from the five clubs that play in the senior mens competition.  In the Senior Womens 1-3 Division category Waikanae also picked up two of the three nominations with Zoe Linstrom joining Club and league Golden Boot Ngaire Dolman.  The womens award however went to Ella Wilson of Miramar Rangers.  Given there are 34 teams across the three womens divisions, having two finalists was a great achievement for the Club.

Congratulations Cole on picking up the H-K Player of the Year award. Well deserved. Congratulations also to our other finalists at the awards, Ngaire Dolman, Zoe Linstrom, Michael Edridge and Lewis Plumley.
